Tasting and picnic at the Mediterranean olive grove

Price: 50€ per person – minimum 2 participants.
An outdoor activity, where we learn about olive oil and its tasting procedure. Takes place at our Mediterranean olive grove, in which at 2022 we started planting olive trees from all around the Mediterranean. This tour consists of two parts:
Part 1: Introduction to olive oil tasting. We learn:
- How extra virgin olive oil is extracted from olives.
- How to professionally taste olive oil by trying 6-8 different samples.
- The different categories and qualities of olive oil.
- How to understand an EVOO label and how does it match your culinary preferences.
Part 2: Picnic and pairing.
- We use our newfound knowledge to pair olive oils tasted with local products; essentially we’ll be brunching!
Price includes:
- Personal samples for olive oil tasting.
- Personal samples for olive oil pairing exercises.
- All other costs related to the tour, not specifically mentioned here.
- All applicable taxes and commissions.

- Transport to and from the Melissakis Olive Mill. For transport, click here.

Important Notes:
- This tour takes place in an olive grove, so we suggest wearing comfortable clothes and shoes.
- Children under 6 years of age can join this tour free of charge, and do not require a reservation.
